SmartSimple now supports the Foundation Center's eGrant reporting program

After nearly a decade of providing software solutions to the Grants Management market, SmartSimple is extremely excited to announce that our grants management system now contains seamless integration to the Foundation Center’s eGrant Reporting Program.

Becoming an official eGrant reporting partner validates a core company tenet of SmartSimple, which is to continually leverage technology to enhance collaboration and communication across dispersed communities.  Through this partnership, SmartSimple clients will be able to provide more complete, accurate, and timely information to the grantseekers, researchers, policymakers, and fellow grantmakers who use the Foundation Center’s resources and publications. This bridge enables SmartSimple clients to communicate the value of their grantmaking activities to a wider audience and, in turn, provides clients with knowledge and tools they need to be more strategic and effective agents of change.  SmartSimple clients also benefit from being instantly recognized as an eGrant Reporter in the Foundation Center’s Foundation Directory Online database, by having the icon placed on their grantmaker profile.

As the Foundation Center’s first international Grants Management Software Partner, this launch coincides with SmartSimple’s entry into the U.S. marketplace and will allow even more grantmakers to easily submit details surrounding new grants awarded, resulting in vast amounts of shared information that will benefit the global giving community and their stakeholders.

SmartSimple will officially launch this functionality at the Council of Foundations 2011 Fall Conference for Community Foundations beginning on September 19th, followed shortly by the launch of instructional videos.

About the Foundation Center’s eGrant Reporting Program

The Foundation Center's eGrant Reporting Program enables grantmakers to quickly and easily share grants data electronically with the Foundation Center on a regular basis, expediting their inclusion in a variety of essential resources including Foundation Directory Online (FDO), the nation's most widely used searchable database of U.S. grantmakers and their grants, and Philanthropy In/Sight®, the Foundation Center's interactive mapping tool that helps foundations make strategic decisions and tell the story of their philanthropy.  In short, the eGrant Reporting Program benefits grantmakers and the broader field of philanthropy by making available richer, more descriptive, and accurate grants information.
