Get a Sneak Peek of the May Upgrades at SmartSimple!
SmartSimple’s May, 2015 upgrade is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 28th. Curious to know what we’ve come up with for this round? Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be seeing next week:
Global System Upgrade
This feature is an enhancement to the SmartSimple system and will be immediately available to all users as soon as the upgrade has been applied to your server:
· Workflow Emails
Emails sent from within your SmartSimple system will now be saved against the object that triggered the email – for example, a grant application – in the task that the email is in reference to, as well as in the profile of the user who was sent the correspondence. This means all communications for every activity is now fully tracked.
On-Demand System Upgrades
The following features are also available immediately with the application of the upgrade, but you’ll need a hand from your System Administrator to make them live:
· Budget Allocation Manager
Setting up budgets has never been easier! This function has been standardized, so instead of having to design from scratch, you can use the budget settings menu with check boxes. Check the events section of our website for an upcoming webinar demonstrating how this works.
· New Workflow Task to Trigger Signority
This new workflow task offers the ability to automatically trigger a signature request through our Signority partner.

· Interactive Report View - Phase 1
The new interactive view of reports allows users to control the display of report data, with the ability to filter, group, and aggregate data dynamically and on demand. Users can easily see their information the way they want.
· SmartCheck Validation
We're introducing a new feature called SmartCheck Validation. Now, once a form or application has been submitted and your SmartSimple system checks to ensure every field that requires completion has been filled in correctly, you will see a list of any and all errors or missing information at once, giving you the opportunity to fix any data in one sitting rather than having to go in and out of the document multiple times.
